Chloe & Mike’s Colourful and modern wedding at Hackney Town Hall, London

I LOVE a city vibe, and Chloe & Mike's Hackney wedding did not disappoint at all. It was a day full of colour, a whole lotta love and the nicest, laid-back atmosphere.

WEDDING PREP AT YOUR HACKNEY CHILDHOOD HOME

Chloe decided to start her day at the place she felt most comfortable: her childhood home. In the heart of Hackney, and with Victoria Park on their doorstep, It was the most perfect location for prep!

Chloe is the queen of accessories, and I’m sure you can see why! She was dripping in gold pieces from be EM Ibiza and wore it so well. Her Willowby by Watters Dress was also showstopping and suited her incredibly cool and chic vibe.

Once everyone was ready, it was time to hop into a London black cab, and head to the iconic Hackney Town Hall.

THE CLASSIC BEAUTY OF GETTING MARRIED AT HACKNEY TOWN HALL

I think if I had to pick which iconic London Town Hall is my favourite, Hackney would probably win. The art deco 1930s building is absolutely striking, and the metallic additions that have been added to the ceremony space gives it a modern edge that still compliments the original style.

Chloe & Mike's stunning ceremony took place in the Atrium and was surrounded by all their friends and family. Chloe also created the colourful blooms that surrounded the two of them. The purple, turquoise and jewel tones really stood out against the neutral back drop behind them.

The newlywed Walshes took no chances with the amount of confetti they brought to the venue, and the results ended up being some of my favourite confetti shots to date! It’s true what they say, the more the merrier! Chloe & Mike chose paper circle confetti which is personally my favourite sort. Not only does it look amazing, but it floats down slowly, leaving a lasting effect.

After portraits and confetti, everyone hopped on to a red London double decker bus, ready to head towards their final stop: People’s Park Tavern

THE PEOPLE’S PARK TAVERN: A QUIRKY ALTERNATIVE PUB VENUE IN THE HEART OF HACKNEY

The People’s Park Tavern is a gorgeous pub right by Victoria Park in Hackney. The Greenhaus is a stunning converted space that can now be hired out for wedding receptions. The space gets ample light and is decorated with a ton of luscious greenery, but is still a blank canvas, so you can turn it into whatever you want it to be! Chloe & Mike decorated with ultra bright pink and orange styling that was right on trend for the height of summer.
